The Life of the Party
The Bump project is dedicated to beats that keep driving forward in the form of house music. This is split into two of the most popular genres of house music – Deep House and Chill House.
Minimalist and stripped-back house sounds.
Enjoy the rhythms and sumptuous melodies of this stripped-back and minimalist approach to the four-on-the-floor sound of the late 70s through the present day. You will be delighted at each fresh turn the Chill House stream takes you.
The original tone setter.
With influences from the world of jazz and funk, feel the bass vibrate through you and fall in love all over again with the sound of classic Chi-City house.
Deep House employs the four-on-the-floor beat that is synonymous with Chicago house music, with bass lines and harmonies that are influenced by funk and jazz. Tuneful and groovy, you’ll find it hard not to tap your feet or get out of your chair and act like you’re in the club. It is a great genre to play when you are getting ready for a night on the tiles.
Chill House, on the other hand, is a more relaxed take on the sound that perforated around Chicago nightclubs during the 70s and 80s and then across the world. It features a significantly more minimalist and stripped-back feel. A great choice when you want a beat and some great melodies but also want something that will slip nicely into the background.
