Bump is the collaborative effort of XJ musics founding team of musicians and producers formed into one supergroup; Charney Kaye, a Chicago-born electronic music producer of over two decades, and XJ musics founder, Mark C. Stewart, a New York Based multi-instrumentalist and composer, Ian Hersey, a Brooklyn based producer, musician, and engineer, and Jamal Whitaker, a Bay Area based producer. Together Bump laid the groundwork for collaborative creation within the XJ music medium.

Their flagship channel Deep House, draws from many inspirations throughout the subgenre, while incorporating various elements from each of Bump’s members musical backgrounds.
